Will it get rid of all the fur?
Not completely, and that's a choice we made. The enzymes weaken and loosen the fur caught inside your machine so the water can carry it away. We keep them mild on purpose so your washer never takes any damage.
Is there a scent?
Pro is unscented. Ultra has a soft, clean scent.
What's inside each tablet?
Each tablet is built around TriZyme™ Pet Complex: protease, lipase and alpha-amylase enzymes. They work with an oxygen boost (sodium percarbonate), washing soda (sodium carbonate), citric acid, sodium silicate, sodium polyacrylate, a fatty alcohol ethoxylate cleaner and tea polyphenols. Ultra adds beta-cyclodextrin for odor capture plus a light clean scent.
Doesn't my detergent already clean the washer?
No. Detergent leaves a thin film behind, and grime builds right on top of it. Over time that means paying for water, power and soap on loads that never get fully clean. In a dark, damp drum the film starts to smell, and it rubs off on your clothes and skin. A regular deep clean is the only way to clear it out.
Where does the tablet go?
Straight into the empty drum. Never in the detergent drawer.
How often should I use it?
Once every 2 weeks keeps your machine fresh. If a musty smell shows up sooner, run one right away.
Is it compatible with my machine?
Yes, it fits any washer: HE or standard, front or top loading, with a stainless or white drum.
How do I use it?
  1. Start with a fully empty washer.
  2. Place a single tablet inside the drum itself. Skip the detergent drawer.
  3. Choose a Normal/Hot or Clean Washer cycle and press start.
  4. Once the cycle ends, wipe the drum and seal with a cloth.
My washer has never been cleaned. Is one tablet enough?
For the first deep clean on a machine that's been neglected, run 2 or 3 tablets on back-to-back hot cycles, one tablet per cycle. After that, one every 2 weeks keeps it clear.
Why didn't the water look dirty?
What you see depends on how much has built up and where your washer drains. Plenty of machines drain clear even when the clean worked. The real test is your nose: smell the drum and your next load of towels.
Do I still need to wipe the door seal?
Yes, it takes 30 seconds. The tablet loosens the grime in the folds of the rubber seal, and a damp cloth after the cycle lifts out the rest. Think of it as the last step of the clean.
Should I clean the filter too?
Yes, if your washer has a drain pump filter, usually behind a small door at the bottom front. Loosened hair and sludge end up there, and a clogged filter can keep a smell around. Check your manual and empty it after your first clean.
Where does the pet hair go?
The enzymes loosen fur stuck behind the drum and in the seal, and the water carries it toward the drain and the filter. You may spot a few clumps in the drum or filter afterward. That's hair that was hiding in your machine, now on its way out.
Will it make too many suds in my HE washer?
Use one tablet per cycle in an empty drum and never add detergent on top. If you see suds left over, run a rinse cycle with nothing inside.
How is this different from Affresh or vinegar?
